Animal Feed (Cassava)

Cassava used for animal husbandry is generally in the form of Cassava chips. Cassava meal can be done by cutting fresh cassava root into small pieces and then dry in the sun and keep in the form of Cassava meal. Mashing the cassava chips make it easier to mix into animal feed formulas. Cassava is commonly used as a feed ingredient because it is high in carbohydrates and good source of energy for animals.
