Animal Feed (Palm Meal)
Palm Meal (Inside Pulp)
It is a by-product from the extraction of oil from oil palm kernels. Palm meal should be type of husked which contains approximately 14-16% protein and 10-15% remaining fat and 14-15% pulp or fiber. Used in pig and chicken feeds up to 30% of the formula but the optimum level of using is 5% because using too much will make the food look spongy and animals will eat less food. Diary cattle can be used up to 8% by increasing both for content and fat content in the milk.
